Only TWO weeks?

Jared has been really busy since his actual classes started. I still don't have his address. We still havn't gotten his Army pay and I STILL don't have his address. All of these "stills" make it feel like he has been gone a long time, when really its only been a few days.

I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't have Sam and Josh around all the time. Already Sam and I have been spending lots of time together and Peter has a lot of fun playing with them too!

Sam and I went on a ti-dye craze! Check my facebook for some pictures of our work! We made some baby onsies for her best friend's baby girl! SO CUTE! (i would have posted them but they were mobile uploads and woudn't post right..arg)

Then I went on a little craft craze and made something for my mother-in-law and my dear friend's baby girls. I've read 2 books (the last 2 of the Twilight series to be exact) and I've been trying to keep up with my bible study....

AND STILL I feel like its been super long since Jared left. I thought being busy would help.

Even though the Jared-less part of life is kinda stinkin' right now I have been given AVENUE! (the youth group) Access is truly in all seriousness a God-send. Hopefully I will have gotten to catch up with Jared by the end of the night.

He can see!

HAHA. Jared had an eye doctor's appointment today! So that's a big plus. He is down to his last pair of contacts  and no glasses. So those are on their way! wooo hooo!

He is so aware of God working in this place and is already seeing God's purpose for him there! (yeah Father! Thank you for using Jared! He is so grateful to see your will where he is at!)

Jared starts actual school this Sunday. He really enjoys his "HUGE" medical book so far. He wants to be in the top of his class! Here are some prayer requests:

. Jared would have focus and that God would continue to show him, his will.
. Jared's father who is in the hospital
. Patience with God's plan for me :)

p.s- we should probably have his address by next week!

It's Official!

Jared is currently on his way to the airport! His flight leaves today at 1:20! Wow. I'm so glad this all worked out. God is so good to have given us an extra day so that Jared, Peter and I could just be together. So thankful!


It is 23 degrees in Texas! Poor JAred! He says he isn't worried! 

I will definitely keep everyone updated on Jared's news! Don't have his address yet... 

Doesn't San Antonio look like fun? I hope he gets to experience it while he is there! I'm excited to go visit!

New Developments

Jared is going to MEPS tomorrow (MEPS is the go to place before you go to basic training or are before you go to any training, amongst other things). Basically we were told today that Jared couldn't ship because his "release" form from the National Guard has expired. Which we new it was, and Jared's recruiters asked their contact if that would be a problem, this contact said no, THREE times. And yet still, the contact calls them TODAY to say he can't ship.... ARGH. But anyway he is still going tomorrow to sign his paperwork and hopefully everything will get worked out by then (his recruiters are great and working hard to get it all fixed).


On a lighter note, a lot of flight have been cancelled due to weather, so a lot of military guys that were supposed to leave on Monday are still stuck in AZ! Maybe Jared will get "stuck" for a few more days :) 


PS-please pray for my healing I'm sick with some sinus thingy....
