RASP- WK 2!

Check out this link, it gives you an overall of RASP. Jared is in week 2 (Cole Range, supposedly only about 4 hours of sleep) so continue to pray for him! But I'm sure he is doing amazing and not mortally wounded because I havn't gotten a call!
But one of the wives I've been talking to on FB (some wives/girlfriends/moms of RASP members this cycle got together and created a group so we could all chat), her husband blew out his knees this week. So a prayer for him too would be appreciated! It is definitely not easy stuff! But they are on day 3 of Cole Range so almost through one of the toughest portions of the training (so it seems anyway). Thanks everyone for your continued support!

Jared's Address

Hey Everyone! Here is Jared's current address for the next 7 weeks and 2 days or so.... He can't have packages so don't send anything but letters :)

Praise for God: a group of wives started a group on facebook to chat about our men who are in this RASP cycle. I don't know how they knew I was the wife of one of they guys but it is super cool to have that group going! Thanks to God for the extra support!

Make Sure you are Praying extra!

Jared is about to start Ranger school family and friends! This is big news! And it will be the hardest most demanding (emotionally, physically, spiritually) training he has done yet! I don't know when it's over for sure. But I was hoping some of you could commit to praying for him for the next 8 weeks? I will let everyone know how he is doing/when he graduates/any other interesting info as soon as possible. But just so you know, he doesn't share information with me because they arn't allowed, but I'll do my best to keep everyone updated!

Also my brother Mark is in Afghanistan. If you could include him in your prayers. :)

On a baby Peter note: PK has gone weewee and poopoo in the potty!!! He did great yesterday until an accident in the bedroom, but he is catching on so quick! Jared was on the phone and PK stole it from me and wouldn't give it back. He kept telling daddy how he went poopoo in the potty. haha

I'm obsessed with The Hunger Games right now! I only read the first one last night (literally between the hours of 9pm and 4am) If my brother doesn't get back to me soon I'm stopping at Barnes and Noble on my way out to Mesa today! (I'm going to a fundraiser my dad is hosting to raise money for his friends that were in a motorcycle accident: more people to pray for)

Thanks friends and family!

in Christ's love...

Quote from Everyday Justice

Wendell Berry, a farmer and author said:  "This world, this creation, belongs in a limited sense to us, for we may rightfully require certain things of it-the things necessary to keep us fully alive as the kind of creature we are-but also we belong to it and it makes certain rightful claims on us: that we care properly for it, that we leave it undiminished not just to our children but to all the creatures who will live after us."

-Everyday Justice by Julie Clawson (A must read if you care at all about how our food, coffee, clothes, and gas gets to our demanding doorstep)
